I think this is an awesome VR game to play with a friend/friend group. It's not expensive and has a good bit of gameplay to enjoy. It's purely pvp, with bots to face against if thats what you choose. I think you should unlock characters quicker, tutorial matches and two matches against my buddy should unlock at least ONE character to switch out... All in all though, very fun and I want to keep playing. One note, you'll need to find a way to rebind some mappings if you're using valve controllers. The movement is based on the gripping of the controller, which does not feel good in fast paced actions using the trigger. Some clunky-ness if you choose to continue playing this way. My buddy on the oculus said it was incredibly smooth and responsive. I would really appreciate a defaulted valve control selection! Edit- Please add proper valve controller support... Grips controlling player movement make for constant accidental movement and other quirky interactions that become irritating very fast. Removing grips and creating a chord in steams controller rebind did not fix the issue, making the game incredibly frustrating to play on the index. Will change back if support is added or …7 found this helpful
Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss demonstrates Polyarc's desire to expand the Moss universe beyond the confines of a traditional storybook adventure. Developed and published by Polyarc, the game reimagines the enchanting world of tiny woodland heroes as the backdrop for a competitive virtual reality experience. Instead of following Quill on another heartfelt quest, players are placed above a miniature battlefield where strategy, positioning, and teamwork determine the outcome. The result is an unusual blend of tabletop gaming, arena combat, and VR immersion that immediately distinguishes itself from many other multiplayer titles on Steam. The game's premise revolves around assembling a trio of Champions and leading them into fast-paced matches centered on destroying the enemy's Glass Stronghold. Every Champion fulfills a unique role, whether serving as a durable front-line defender, a swift damage dealer, or a support specialist capable of changing the momentum of battle. This variety encourages experimentation, as players can create combinations that suit aggressive tactics, defensive playstyles, or balanced approaches. The strategic layer is deeper than it initially appears, with…5 found this helpful
When I first downloaded the game, I thought I would easily give it a 10 out of 10. But after spending some hours playing, I realized a few things. First, the game feels dead. You either play against bots or what seems like the developers themselves. Second, the game is boring. After about 20 hours, I reached Top 6 in the world ranking… or so I thought. Turns out the developers tricked players here too. There isn’t actually a single global ranking — each player seems to have their own version of the leaderboard. So it’s impossible to know how many other people are also sitting at “6th place” in the Top 10. I even tried participating in their tournament. It honestly felt like they picked random people off the street to organize it. They don’t even know what a BO3 (Best of 3) format is. Match dates are announced just a couple of hours before they start. And when I checked who made it to the finals (spoiler: it’s either admins or the developers themselves). So whether you buy the game or not — that’s up to you.5 found this helpful
Despite how obviously bad of an idea a VR-exclusive competitively-slanted multiplayer-only RTS in a completely singleplayer franchise was, this game oozes quality and attention to detail from every pixel. This game is full of both love for VR as a medium and incredibly tasteful and well-applied restraint in its art and game design. The character animations are fantastic and each character has a surprising variety of voice lines, including bonus voice lines giving story details about them from the announcer in the main menu. The game is filled with smooth and tasteful references to the original games that makes it feel like you're hanging out in the world of the games. Even the main menu is set in the attic of the Readers' room from the original game - you can look over the balcony and see where you sat. The fact is that a lot of care, effort, and love went into this game, and it shows. Just hanging out in the menus, interacting with the entrancing magical spinning wheel menus and watching the character animations, brought me joy. This makes it a shame that it was, as I imagine most VR players would have guessed, completely doomed from the start.1 found this helpful
Thoroughly enjoying playing with my buddy, simple to learn, hard to master with a progression system that doesn't scream grindfest. My buddy and I are happy to add this to our party games.
Could not load this game to work on my PC through Steam despite following their troubleshooting steps AND Steam refused my 4 requests for a refund because the other game in the bundle worked. Apparently, their policy precludes a refund for a defective product if it is part of a bundle and at least one of the other products in the bundle works. So, IF YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE THIS GAME AS PART OF A BUNDLE AND IT DOES NOT WORK, don’t expect a refund. Steam really needs to change this policy, they could clearly see that I only logged on 9 minutes on the program and did not get it to play- yet because the other item DID work they will not refund the purchase price for this game or give me an account credit. Bad policy and not their usual customer friendly attitude!
