"GLIM" is a mediocre 2-player co-op action game where you and another player (ha, there are no other players and if you ask your friends to play junk like this you soon won't have any) do some top down minigames and action/shooting/etc with a goal to "rescue your friends" from some pointless retro 2D dungeon. It really is a boring plod through a near-minimalist retro 2D hellscape. Also there's a gimmick where you die if you get too far from your "buddy". At least it's not completely pixelcrap. But it is close. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 30 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donat…

It's a pretty good game, i like the cool mechanics and i even like the mechanic. but the sprites are not that good and the visuals are ok. the name is cool, like Glim like glim glim hooray! if you like games- did i mention FREE! that you can play with your friends this is a great game that you dont even need to spend any money on. 10/17
