Go Go Jump!!

Ugh... there are the makings of a good game here, but it falls short in so many frustrating ways. I get tastes of precision platforming, bullet hell, and rhythm games, but it needs to lean into at least one of those genres a lot harder. When a level isn't shallow in its design, it's either way too easy or way too hard depending on which cues you're looking for. Otherwise, the jokes are hit-or-miss, the voice acting is hit-or-miss, the good character design is weighed down by the bad UI, the list goes on.

Tuah Tuah Jump!!

Incredibly cute and charming platformer game. Most of the humour works, and there were several moments that caught me completely off guard and left me in stitches. The voice acting is fantastic and the dialogue is witty. The art style is also beautiful, with hand drawn frame by frame animation and colourful 3D environments. Would love to see more games with this art style. Biggest issue the game has is visual contrast. Some of the objects you need to dodge are hard to see against the background. The levels are mostly great, but the very first one is honestly one of the weakest and gives a bad first impression.

This is a pretty Interesting game in that there are no actual level bits though the game has controls/mechanics that would make it a fairly decent platforming game. Instead, the game is a full-on boss rush where you take on bosses who throw obstacles at you that you Jump over and dodge around. You go for three different patterns of attacks, then you get a badge. The Presentation of the game is what stands out, as you have decent music, great art, good camera cuts and funny/fun dialogue. The Voice acting really brings the whole package together. Each boss and character has a clear personality that comes across well. I really like what the game is even though I feel it is a missed opportunity that this couldn't have some linear level platforming before the bosses. In the final boss I did have some weird black bars come on the screen that were definitely graphical issues. They didn't get in the way of the gameplay but it did bother me to look at. I can definitely recommend this game.

It's alright, As a small little game itself it's pretty alright !! I think Dexter Manning carries it ofc. I do have my gripes with it, sometimes the gameplay can get a little repetitive with just memorizing the patterns and that's kinda it, there are just moves where you just can't sightread it until it already kills you. The characters and the story and ofc the voice acting is a fun time I rlly liked it. If you don't already like Dexter Manning's work then you might not get a kick out of it but besides that I think it's fine. Get it when it's on sale tho, don't think I'd recommend getting full-price

Fun and quirky game with a decent amount of challenge would love to see a sequel.
