Godslayer | one is a small first-person single-player indie adventure game in which you look for unique and bizarre boss opponents. Usually one hit on the weak spot of your opponent is enough to defeat him, but be careful - they will be able to defeat you just as easily with one hit.
Unique experience:
You find yourself only armed with your bow in a mysterious world in which you have to face unique boss opponents. You will die a lot as you learn how to defeat your enemies, but once you know how, you will be able to finish each of them in only a few seconds.
Replayablity:
As soon as you have finished the game, you can start it again and try to minimize your deaths and defeat your bosses even faster!

Huge swathes of empty terrain, a very slow and un-fun gameplay mechanic, and interesting but largley boring bosses, combine to make an extremely uninspired game. I certainly can't argue with the description the dev makes for their game; it is accurate. But I can say that my limited time playing this game was spent thinking: most of this game is unused potential. Littered throughout the otherwise barren overworld world are stones that, when approached, say various things. The first one I ran into confused me. "How many?" How many of what? Do you want me to collect something? But then I find more, and their questions all point to one thing: You may be the main character of this story, but you are not a PROTAGONIST. Which in turns raises the questions of why are we here, what are the bosses protecting, and if the player character has anything but selfish motivations for being in that land in the first place. All of this goes untouched, however. And while I can appreciate in some respects that the dev likely was working pretty much entirely alone and wished to make something with a better gameplay feel rather than anything that might try and question your characters ethics, the gameplay is still a bit iffy at times.
