About Golden Rails: Tales of the Wild West
Tame the Wild West as you build a railroad from coast to coast at the newest Time Management game from Alawar! Each backbreaking day in the untamed frontier provides an opportunity for you to further your dream of connecting small towns across the country. However, achieving your goal won't be easy. From the banker who's demanding you pay off your loan to the bandits who are hiding behind every rock, cactus and tumbleweed, obstacles are everywhere!
Fortunately, there's more good news than bad. As you rebuild a string of ramshackle towns, trains will bring much needed supplies to the station, sheriffs will lock bandits behind bars and the natives will cast a little magic to make it rain. All you have to do to earn your stars is think ahead and beat the clock!
As you complete quests and earn rewards, you and your engineer – a plucky but whip smart gal from the big city – will make your way through dusty canyons, snowy mountaintops, dazzling meadows and more!

Nice little casual game. Its a quite easy resource/timemanagment game with 50 lvls and pretty easy to get 100% achievements, tho you will still need to replay few of them. Nothing special here but it was ok.2 found this helpful
Fun resource management game. Actually a surprisingly high degree of difficulty to get 3 stars on every level first try. Lots of different gameplay mechanics, introduced at regular intervals to keep it interesting. 100% achievements and story completion in 8 hours, really good length. Recommend for the price point, no sale needed.1 found this helpful
Simple time/resource management game. Graphics and music create a relaxing cozy atmosphere, the storyline is simple but still engaging and keeps you interested to move from one level to another. Each level is a small map with different types of production buildings (houses, farms, sawmills, etc) connected by paths. Starting from the main building with a few workers, you need to clear the paths from debris, get to the production buildings and fix/upgrade them to complete the level goals. There's no need to perfectly calculate every move, just follow the general priorities - that's enough for most levels (75% of the time I got 3 stars on the first try). There's also an easy "difficulty" with no time limit at all, but it gets boring very quickly. Even if you don't like time pressure, I'd still recommend to not play on this mode, it just kills all the fun. The only part I didn't like was the grinding for the last 3 achievements. Had to repeat one level for about 10 times to get the total number of bridges built to 100, which took half an hour... 9/10
Good time-management game.
Very Good
Very good challenge. Smooth interface and, with a little patience, you can get 3 stars on every level. Achievements are achievable, so that scratches that itch, so to speak. Lots of fun
