Quite old-fashioned strategy game, which is surprisingly addictive due to interesting tutorial/campaign. Every mission is hard at the beginning but then satifying once you get enough income to expand. The AI competitors are extremely easy though.

A very well rounded experience. The game has a lot of mechanics, all expanding a well done track builder to be a great game of economics. You can start auctions on factories or specific areas in cities to build factories or a selection of other buildings to enhance request on goods or provide other forms of advantages. Buidling tracks is well tought out. Too steep? Trains slow down depending on the amount of their freight. Too tight of a curve radius? Trains again have to slow down. The game has a good selection of locomotives, most of them do have a niche they excell at. Some are faster, some can haul more and different locomotives can accelerate differently quickly. Many properties can be enhanced by using the research facility, allowing players to enhance existing trains or research new ones. All research and construction costs money. Money which needs to be earned. For this the players transport goods from industries to other industries or towns and goods and passengers from town to town. The track tool is so buggy. Like 1fps buggy. It’s a game about trains. There are two things that should work 100% of the time. The trains, and the things you put trains on.
