About GUNGRAVE VR U.N
A standalone GUNGRAVE VR adventure featuring new enemies, stages and more!
After the battle to eradicate the nefarious drug SEED from South City, peace appears to have returned to the metropolis.
While rolling up the remaining distribution networks for the drug, Mika has received confidential intel on a chemical plant in the suburbs of South City, where suspicious lifeforms suggest the presence of SEED.
The battle is not yet over.
As undead assassin Beyond the Grave (Grave, for short) battles alone behind enemy lines...
...a mysterious man watches his every move.
In addition to third-person action, GUNGRAVE VR U.N introduces brand new side-view stages that mix VR action with the feel of classic side-scrollers.
Experience the next level of intense VR action!
New Perspectives for New Challenges
On top of the third-person action gameplay that made the series famous, GUNGRAVE VR U.N adds fast-paced side-scrolling and first-person sliding levels to the mix.
Brand New Animation
GUNGRAVE VR U.N showcases the return of character designer Yasuhiro Nightow (Trigun) and the original GUNGRAVE designers at RED Entertainment as advisers, and features brand new anime cutscenes!
Kick Their Ass!
Play how you want with three difficulty levels: Normal, Hard, and Kick-Ass. Are you hardcore enough to take down the Orgmen in Kick-Ass mode?

Just got done playing gungrave and gungrave overdose on ps2 and i was itching for more gungrave... the itch is still there but now its a full blown rash. THIS GAME FEELS UNFINISHED. i tried playing the first release of the vr one and it was bad but this game... THEY HAD 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ YEARS TO FIX IT but they didnt do ♥♥♥♥ and just reused a lot of assets from the first vr game. there is now a new 2d side scroller part. makes you want to vomit. i feel like no love was put into any of the vr games which is sad cause i had high hopes for them cause the ps2 although a little janky still played decently.5 found this helpful
It's fun, but it's literally 30 minutes long.4 found this helpful

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and world and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.3 found this helpful
Pretty much the same mechanics as the previous Gungrave VR title so they're just as clunky, except instead of first person mode there's now side scrolling segments which honestly aren't awful, but an odd choice for a VR game. Interestingly I had more issues with button responsiveness in this than in the last one though. The new enemy types are slightly better designed for the game than the ones in the previous title, but nothing earth shattering. There's even less here than there was in the last one, but this is maybe marginally better put together and thankfully less strainful on the neck. I still wouldn't recommend unless you're a diehard fan and it's on deep discount.1 found this helpful
The game is a continuation of 'Gugrave V.R. It's super short with only 3 stages (15-30min each), so skip this one unless it's 80-100% on sale. The controllers are the worst part of the game, I had to remap the gamepad to make it work properly (I didn't have to do that with GungraveV.R.). Be aware that it doesn't support the standard V.R. controllers. It adds additional more immersive scenarios and a 2D stylish platform gameplay as well, sadly you will finish the whole game in less than 2 hours. Sad to see this kind of product coming from XSeed. Pros: Graphics Cons: -Short. -Controllers are awful (no even gamepad or native Oculus controller support, just keyboard and you have to aim with your head). -Mediocre music. -No real story.
