About Hate Plus
Let's spend the next three real-time days together uncovering the mystery of what went horribly wrong on a derelict generation ship, with the help of a spunky/more-than-slightly-traumatized AI sidekick!
A sequel to Analogue: A Hate Story that tells a whole new hate story of its own. Analogue players can pick up where their finished save files left off, and new players can start fresh in Hate Plus.
A dark visual novel about transhumanism, cosplay, cake-baking, and the slow patriarchal erosion of freedoms taken for granted.
I can't believe it! My mission was supposed to be routine data recovery on an old derelict generation ship, but instead, I ended up rescuing an adorable AI girl who grew up in a tremendously patriarchal Neo-Confucian society? And now she's discovered a bunch of messages left by the mysterious Old *Mute... and wants me to uncover with her the slow enactment of a regressive political program that caused her society to regress to Joseon Dynasty social mores?!
I wasn't expecting this at all! I thought the three day trip back to Earth would be peaceful and lonely and not at all filled with reading about tragedy!
And so began my hateful days...

If you love the first game this visual novel is a must play. Sadly miss the command-line minigame from the first part) I expected this, not a rather annoying real-time lock and baking cakes for a fictional character)) And yeah, creating an achievement that is impossible to get for player except for the dev themselves is an absolutely demonic move. I don't know why Steam even allows such intentional trolling of completionists and exploit of the lack of rules regarding achievements.2 found this helpful
Screw this bollocks. This game is a technical disaster, low-ass resolution (ever heard of HD, Full-HD or 4k?), scrolling feels broken and non-smooth in a game about scrolling and reading texts. SPOILER WARNING!!! Then the dev added a fake achievement. Level four revive blablabla. I dont mind that i cannot obtain that, but because of that i wasted HOURS of my lifetime, THE ONLY THING I CAN NEVER GET BACK to save *Mute from killing herself or wiping her memory, however you wanna call it. I tried everything, i even sorted the logs and only read the ones i deemed "important" to get *Mute a full picture of what happened, so she doesnt kill herself. But no. It seems the achievement is fake and there is no actual way to save the actual *Mute. And THEN i found out you could skip those ridiculous waiting times of 12 hours by pressing S only to get called a jerkface by the dev for doing that. But ofcourse she is not a jerkface for making us wait FOR DAYS in hope of getting a different ending. Dear Dev, please learn about the value of time, because that is the only currency we never get back once we spend it. You Hypocrite. You cheat us by giving a fake achievement, making us believe we…2 found this helpful
DISCLAIMER: ONE unachievable achievement. Not cool, dev. Not cool. Unfair.1 found this helpful
Beautiful sequel and love the story, need to replay again soon
Простенькая и не очень длинная визуальная новелла, 2я из дилогии. Мне в своё время понравилась, прежде всего историей и сеттингом.
How much time is too long for a person? 50, 100, 200? maybe even 300 years? How long until you're done with it all? Until you completely mastered a skill? Until continuing makes no difference? How about an AI? it's easy to say they have no soul and never will, but if we go to sci-fi version that's closest to human as possible, would that make a different? AI that needs to replace their parts. Living so long even the machinery inside needs to be replaced, CPU that's failing, SDD/cloud that's full and needs to be recompiled or deleted overtime. How about using 1600 years to run a "county", how much more can you learn about it? How much longer, until you just don't care... Nothing is infinite, not even a machine. --- --- --- [s] Hag Mute vs Loli Mute vs bobcut Mute - oh my! [/s] The best part of the sequel is how much an impact your choices from the first game has. This might as well be 3 in 1 games to be honest. That and well, "Nothing is infinite, not even a machine".
