I Hate My Waifu Streamer

A fairly generic visual novel, with a variety of endings (12 I believe) with said variety of endings prioritised over the quality of story or the depth of plot. The visuals are quite nice (the art is well drawn), it's quite an immersive experience of watching a Twitch streamer (at least I imagine). The streams, messages you send, outside-media (like Reddit and Twitter) you can consume about said streamer and such are quite interesting and varied - and can reveal a fair amount about the streamer in the narrative path you are going down (as she varies quite wildly based on the path you go). However, the narrative diverges quite wildly based on the ending you are heading towards so a lot of things don't make much cohesive sense if you look at the big picture. I won't spoil anything but character motivations and how much they care about certain actions or events can vary from 0 to 100 based entirely on which ending and narrative you are in at that time. There is a money mechanic involved, to send the gifts etc to simp out to the streamer. It's extremely tedious and adds nothing but padding on playtime, maybe it can be seen as symbolic of the real life grind these people have to endur…

i recommend on your first play though go without hints.

This game has a pretty good lore and makes you use your brain more than you might think. With a lot of different endings, this game is pretty cool to play though you will probably be stuck on the same ending at the beginning. Most people will not play cuz of the cover or the pictures and streams showing in the game but I mean people that actualy care about lore and story, I def recommend this game for y'all.
