great game
Nice game. Well worth a play.
Did not take me the time on file to beat it I fell asleep. I beat this by force of will and I love point and click games 4/10 ganky, overly wordy to a point you'll be skipping the dialog, plot holes and lack of research in the story and the english voice acting is not good
I received Heaven's Hope as a gift back in 2018 but only recently got around to playing it. My initial experience was a bit frustrating due to the inability to remap keybinds, especially as a left-handed mouse user—it felt awkward with the default setup. However, my return to the game for some achievement hunting and to complete my collection turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The game is relatively short, but it has several features that help streamline the experience, making subsequent playthroughs quicker and more enjoyable. The art style is charming and fits the whimsical, slightly dark tone of the game beautifully. I found myself admiring the attention to detail in the visuals, which enhanced the overall atmosphere. As for the voice acting, I noticed that some reviews weren't particularly kind, but I personally found it quite fitting for the game's quirky nature. The performances might not be award-winning, but they have a certain charm that aligns well with the lighthearted and sometimes eccentric storytelling. In summary, Heaven's Hope is a delightful point-and-click adventure with a few quirks. If you're a fan of the genre and can get past the keybinding issues (espec…
I wanted this game to be endearing, but it ended up more so annoying. The artwork is grotesquely misproportioned. The dialog is overly long and often unnecessarily duplicative. The voice acting for the protagonist os awkwardly stilted—this may have been an unfortunately intentional choice to try to make him seem clueless, but I found it grating. Most of the action is a long, boring series of fetch quests. At times, the game tells you exactly what to do, even if it's obvious; at others, the game provides very little clue what the puzzle to be solved even is. And toward the end, the game loses cohesion, as if the developers were sloppily rushing to finish.
Goooooood game!
