Hereford 1642

Absolutely useless. It fails to load with a Direct X 12 error message, despite the fact my computer is running Direct X 12.

Hereford 1642 is an ambitious historical exploration project that attempts something rarely seen in conventional games: reconstructing a real English city as it may have appeared during the seventeenth century. Developed and published by Jack Hodges, the game is currently in Early Access and is best understood as an evolving interactive historical reconstruction rather than a fully developed role-playing experience. Its greatest appeal comes from wandering through a carefully recreated version of Hereford, observing its streets, architecture, fortifications, and surrounding countryside while getting a sense of the city's physical character during the English Civil War period. The recreation of Hereford is easily the most impressive aspect of the experience. Historical maps, illustrations, surviving structures, and other period references have been used as the basis for constructing the environment. More than 200 individual buildings can be entered, giving the city considerably more physical depth than a decorative historical backdrop. I understand it’s early access feels a little clunky to play with it start but it’s a free game and it represents Hereford really well as I do live here

The bones of a pretty RPG buried under a mountain of bugs.

Doesnt even run . i have a powerful enough system yet it freezes when loading a new game. it just gets stuck at the loading screen and cant get any further
