I wasn't really expecting to write a review on this but the Glorious Princess has left enough of an impact for me to do so. As such, both reviews can be considered a single post split in two. Prologue is good, if short. The difficulty is okay on expert (it is painfully easy but better than the other game), the pacing of both combat and story are decent, the plot itself is fine. It's a good setup with just enough world building to be interesting. One thing I do have to point out is the combat system. It's a good spin on the typical RPG Maker fights, and the way the units engage in combat allows for minor variety within the same roles between the games. For example, the charge skill in Prologue deals no damage to enemy unit but stuns it, while in Glorious Princess it does deal damage but doesn't stun. Sure, it seems stupid to read such things being praised for being "creative" but what are you honestly expecting to read under yet another RPGM game sold for a price of a ciggy pack? The main character is hot. Yep, dedicated a whole separate line just to that. The price is... a little steep to be honest, but it's kiiinda maaaybe worth it on sale. Okay, this was a pretty neat li'l intro to a new game world! And not only do you get to play the villainess, you get to play a *hot dark elf* villainess! My only gripe is the time limit, which made grinding for the best gear a little more tedious.1 found this helpful
