Hexa Rhythm

Hexa Rhythm is a creative rhythm-action game that takes the familiar idea of performing actions to music and combines it with directional defense, shooting, color recognition, and constant battlefield awareness. Developed and published by HEATWAVE, the game presents itself as an experimental interpretation of the rhythm genre rather than a conventional note-matching experience. Its concept is immediately distinctive because the player is not simply following a sequence of musical prompts. Instead, several different pieces of information must be processed at the same time, creating a game that tests concentration and coordination just as much as a sense of rhythm. The story provides a lighthearted fantasy explanation for the unusual mechanics. The central character is Muhou-chan, a young alchemist living in a forest who discovers an extraordinary method of turning inexpensive materials into valuable substances such as gold and silver. Cute hi-score oriented rhythm game where you have to rotate three color cannons and shoot on beat to hit colored enemies that approach the center. There's only one song so far but I look forward to more additions. The hand-illustrated pictures are wicked cute and add to the charm!

[h1]Before I played Hexa Rhythm, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]

I like it, the gameplay is fun and was easy enough to figure out even if it is all in Japanese. Sadly there's only one song but it's at least a pretty nice song. I'd love for there to be more in the future. The game is still in EA so there's hope that one day we may get a full version. ゲームが大好きです。 開発者さん、頑張ってください。
