About Hollow Meridian
Hollow Meridian is a first-person interactive system. You are positioned inside a confined control space, operating a large machine through incomplete information and indirect instrumentation.Visibility is limited.
Instructions arrive fragmented.
Intent is irrelevant.Targets are defined by coordinates, not description.
Authorization procedures are required, even when redundant.
Once all steps are fulfilled, the system executes. It does not evaluate outcome. There is no traditional HUD, no objective markers, and no character commentary.
All interaction is physical and diegetic — levers, keys, switches, documents. This is not a shooter, a puzzle game, or a test of skill.
There are no fail states, no scoring systems, and no optimization goals. The experience may reach a point where no further input is requested.
At that moment, functionality ceases.NO FURTHER DIRECTIONS AVAILABLE.

I went into this pretty optimistic because it looked super cool, so I’m a bit let down. In less than 30 minutes I felt like I’d already seen everything it had to offer. The description isn’t lying when it says “The experience may reach a point where no further input is requested.” That happened about 23 minutes in, and the game started playing itself with zero input from me. I get that this might be the point, but it made me feel more like I was watching than playing. The gameplay loop is basically: receive orders, click two buttons on a scanner, wait to reach a destination, turn two keys, screen goes black, repeat. I did this around five times before the automation started. The store page has more world-building than what you actually find in-game. It feels like it’s going for an atmospheric vibe, but with how little lore or interaction there is, it kind of just feels like nothing is really happening. I know I’m stomping around in something and it’s raining - that’s about all I got. Maybe I missed something, but there’s not much direction, so it’s hard to tell. The atmosphere is honestly pretty good and there’s potential here, but it needs a more developed gameplay loop…4 found this helpful
