A very cool minimalist look at nihilism through the lens of exploring a dimension full of nihilistic answers and hopefulness. I really enjoyed the music and the realistic aesthetic. Not sure how I feel about the use of ConvAI in the game, but it did not work for me at all, so I guess...negatively? The rest of the game is interesting and enjoyable without the AI, so as I mentioned in the game, either code in a bunch of actual nihilism related answers or just leave it out entirely. https://youtu.be/g5RHM3PNr4M5 found this helpful
Short philosophical experience that requires a certain state of mind. You play a man who gets up from his bed and walks through a door into nothingness. This takes him on a short journey through the meaning of life. You can only walk around two areas. The first is a little cave with no interaction except for bright orbs. When you walk close to one, you will see a fragment of philosophical text that comes from various sources. Then you travel to the garden. It gives a bit more because you must finish an easy platforming challenge to reach the top. Aside from the glowing orbs, there is a "sage" who can answer your inquiries. However, this feature is broken, since it responds with an "error, contact support" message for every question or statement. Gameplay is short and not for everyone. It also lets you see everything right away. Cave and garden maps can be accessed from the main menu, and you can press button “L” if you don’t want to do the platforming challenge. The graphics are basic and decent, but you'll need powerful hardware to support the highest graphical settings. If you set graphics to nihil, they get locked and cant be changed anymore. with this setting the game runs on 20fps and is unplayable for me. will update and review properly if patched.2 found this helpful
