It's a bit tough to decide whether I should recommend this game or not. The concept is simple, and it could be a good time-killer. The music is average, and if you're into Steam achievements, you'll enjoy that aspect. However, I find the price of 2€ a bit too high for what the game offers. There are similar games available for much cheaper. It's fun, but not worth the full price in my opinion.1 found this helpful
Is it a shooting game? Is it a hockey game? Maybe a golf game? Who knows? ...but it's a lot of fun!

Fast and addictive action with an irresistible hook, albeit very short I finished Hookshot in just over an hour, and although the length is really short, the intensity and fun it offers during that time are surprising. This game combines superbly well-executed grappling hook mechanics with levels that test your precision and reflexes from the first second. The level design is ingenious and maintains a frenetic pace, with a sense of freedom and adrenaline every time you throw the grappling hook and jump. The charming pixel art and retro soundtrack complete the perfect atmosphere for this fast-paced but intense challenge. The downside is clear: the game is very short and doesn't offer much additional content for those looking for hours and hours of gameplay. However, for those looking for a fast-paced, action-packed, and satisfying experience, Hookshot delivers and even surprises. In short, Hookshot is a gem for lovers of dexterity and precision, with fresh gameplay and fun levels. If you're looking for a fast-paced and satisfying challenge in a compact package, this is an excellent choice.
Fine puzzle game, a bit short though. Priced okay. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles, not all though. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)
