A ludicrous-speed version of Desert Strike presented in a Zeewolf style. Zip around the map blasting everything in sight and doing missions, most of which are "kill this enemy/base" or "rescue these dudes", The controls are a bit daft and the UI is stupid. But once you master those controls and figure out how the choppers fly then then game really opens up and has a wicked fast flow to it. It's a solid arcade chopper game. The balance is a bit off, and almost all of the choppers are underpowered compared to the default Apache like one. The campaign isn't explained either about buying ammo, so watch out for that.

Hornet Virus: Steel Alcimus II, developed by Hijong Park and published by PsychoFlux Entertainment, is a retro-styled helicopter shooter that commits fully to an arcade philosophy, prioritizing immediacy, replayability, and mechanical simplicity over modern complexity. It places players in control of a combat helicopter tasked with completing a variety of missions, ranging from eliminating enemy forces to rescuing hostages and securing objectives across compact, mission-based environments. From the outset, the game makes it clear that it is less interested in cinematic storytelling or realism and more focused on delivering a straightforward, skill-driven experience. The controls are intentionally simple, making it easy to pick up and understand the basics, but mastering them requires precision and patience. As missions progress, the challenge increases not through added complexity, but through tighter margins for error and more demanding…

Very good game, has a learning curve, but fun to play and graphic design is great to look like. It reminds me of Simcopter.

According to my brother, this game takes everything the first game did and just made it way better, so this one is actually fun and playable. I don't have a lot more detail than that unfortunately.

AWESOME!! This game is kinda like a game I played on the Amiga I think virus and conqueror. This game you fly a helicopter, the graphics are smoother the missions I believe are randomly generated! This game is kinda like a helicopter roguelike. Very very good! Rating 9/10
