What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise Cleared Hot as an excellent spiritual successor to classic Strike games from the 90s, offering straightforward, pick-up-and-play arcade mayhem that satisfies a long-missed nostalgic itch. The main complaints center on limited content (around 3 hours), missing graphics options that cause performance issues on some systems, and a difficulty spike with the jet mission that contrasts with the otherwise accessible gameplay. Most players express enthusiasm for the game's foundation and look forward to future content updates.
90s Nostalgia Arcade feel. Modern Polish. Great fun.1 found this helpful
super fun on the steam deck. 5 stars one of my fav chill games
This game is extremely entertaining and a must buy. I bought it but would gladly pay 69.99 for a full game with like 10 different missions. Keep up the good work gentlemen!
I've rally enjoyed this old-school game. It's fun to quickly pick up and try to get through a mission. The simple controls are perfect. I can come back the following day or several days later and not have to go through a tutorial to re-learn some complicated button layout. I actually stream it from my gaming PC to an extra Macbook that I keep on my office desk, so when I take a small work break, I can jump into some quick gaming.
The game reminds me of Saga Desert Strike, back in the day and I loved playing that game.
This game is a lot of fun, and also has one of the funniest tutorial screens I've ever seen in my life. There's nothing quite like blitzing through a group of infantry, wiping them out in a scant few seconds with your gun before quickly whipping around to send a guided anti-armor missile into the rear deck of a tank before it has time to draw a bead on you.
