About HYPERJUSTICE
HyperJustice is a fast-paced third-person shooter heavily inspired by late 1980’s Cop movies and television. Sprint through the blood and neon stained Miami as you battle the mob and try to prevent the distribution of a possibly world-ending drug.
It's the far off year of 1989, violence in America has spiraled out of control. Miami is the most dangerous city in the world. The mob has taken the city over and 14 crimes are reported each second. Nobody goes out after dark in fear of being kidnapped or murdered and unimaginable drugs are being distributed on every street corner.
Play through ten levels set across different locations in The Magic City. Jump, flip, roll, and dive to dodge bullets and wipe out mobsters. You need to act and react fast to stay out enemy fire and change your tactics depending on your weapon and the environment.

✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's unique and satisfying movement mechanics, stylish vaporwave aesthetic, and creative blend of third-person auto-runner and first-person shooter gameplay that recalls Hotline Miami. However, the experience is significantly hampered by frequent glitches and technical issues that undermine the fun core concept and make progression frustrating.
When this game functions, there's actually a fairly fun idea here, calling to mind a 3rd (sometimes 1st) person version of Hotline Miami. Unfortunately, the times where this actually game functions correctly are few and far between. There are heaps of glitches and issues that you are guaranteed to run into which make trying to play the game an endurance test of the worst kind. The game is split into two parts, 3rd person auto-runner sections and 1st person, fairly standard FPS sections. During the 3rd person sections, your character will automatically sprint forwards at all costs and your control is limited to dodge rolling, sliding and obviously shooting. The 1st person sections are fairly standard FPS fare. During both sections, your overall goal is the same: Kill every single enemy on the map without getting shot a single time. There are no checkpoints in the parts I played, so death means a complete level restart. Certainly a fun idea if done well, unfortunately there are many, many flaws that ruin this idea. Enemies will phase into the floor at any chance they get. There are incredibly few attempts that *don't* have at least half of your opponents' heads sprouting from t…7 found this helpful
Another one of Clayton's projects I highly suggest, would recommend trying out the whole collection of games to support this indie dev any day!2 found this helpful
cool fun nd short
I really enjoyed the unique movement and reloading ideas. While not a conventional style of shooter, that's exactly what makes this game stand out. I especially like how the game takes itself serious enough to tell a story, but still allows for goofy moments, particularly with the character models. Overall worth picking up, especially on sale.
fun game. the movement and gunplay is EXTREMELY satisfying.
The art style and narrative of this game was very funny and cool. The levels are very cool and match the vaporware aesthetic!!!
