IDIOTIC (The Game)

I'll preface this entire review by saying this. This game is fun. It has a core loop that is genuinely fun, and has a lot of potential to grow and evolve. I'm eagerly following the development of this game and I really hope to see it grow into something great. But at this current moment, even while on sale, it's not anywhere close to being worth the money being asked for. The game only has two real pieces of enjoyable repeatable content: Arenas and Destruction. Arenas, while fun, lacks variety. I don't mean that map variety is particularly bad, but the gamemode itself lacks variety. Outside of upgrading yourself mid-match, there's very little to do. There's no shakeup in gameplay like modifiers (lower gravity, only explosive enemies, etc.) and the lack of enemy variety only further amplifies problems with the mode. It's by no means a poorly made mode, it just lacks the spice that it needs to remain interesting. Destruction is the mode with by far the most potential. Procedurally crafted levels that involve arenas separated by gauntlets of parkour is actually a good concept, and this is the only the mode that shows by far the most progress. I don't usually touch singleplayer games but this is a really fun game. I like the combination of fast mechanics and decent gunplay but the game is definitely lacking in content. Obviously, since I think this is from a single dev, that's not a valid complaint so other than that, I don't have anything negative to say about this game. It's fast, fun, replayable and fun to learn, and would do really well with a multiplayer imo. Can't wait to see if there are more updates in the future!

Do you like fast shooters? Do you like wall-jumping your way to the nearest McDonalds? Do you like it when you feel that somebody is looking at you but you turn around and nothing is there?? Well, then this game is just for you! IDIOTIC: The game is.... well... a game! and not just any game! It's a fast paced fps shooter that really makes you question why are you still sitting in your chair and not b-hopping in real life! Enjoy the fast paced action as you move through enemies at Mach 5 and leave behind a trail of chaos in the Destruction mode or if you want, you can also try to yknow, just keep falling at the same place over and over again. And that's not all, there are tons (three....) of modes to choose from. Experiment with different weapons and boosts to suit your playstyle. Increase your chaos score to level up and guess what?? Unlock more levels to play!! So what are you waiting for??? Buy it on Steam NOW or... well, I can't do much but buy it pls. It's a really good game and I know the dev who made this, he's a really nice guy and works really hard. It would mean a lot to me and wayy more to him if you gave it a try. Titanfall like movement makes it super fun to move around and enemies are not too tankie making it feel fair. you need to watch your health or you will be deleted pretty fast. overall a perfect score 5/7

its worth the money pretty cool game and cool aim but maybe add more modes and maps?
