In this game you pick one of 6 factions and battle in typical RTS-style your opponents. But Intruder Alert isn't like other strategy games. While in other games you have unit limits, Intruder Alert has no limits except your pc power. Moreover resources are drain realistically and your population grows exponential. Besides all factions differ greatly. For example the Ixir can transform all their buildings into vehicles and backwards and the Mercoss use only drones for all their economic jobs.
The story of Intruder Alert is shortly that you are an Ixir from a foreign Galaxy, who is the first of his race leaving their galaxy finding the Milky Way galaxy. There you get to know many different races, which are currently in war with each other. The game plays many years in the future, where the humans are already part of an alliance containing different alien races. In the Milkyway you also have to cope problems of any kind. Игра Intruder Alert: Ixian Operations — это настоящий подарок для любителей тактических шутеров с глубоким сюжетом. С самого начала погружаешься в напряженную атмосферу секретных операций, где каждое решение имеет вес. Графика, хоть и не самая современная, отлично передает дух игры, а звуковое сопровождение только усиливает ощущение присутствия. Геймплей построен на тщательном планировании и исполнении. Вам предстоит управлять отрядом хорошо подготовленных оперативников, каждый со своими уникальными навыками. Прохождение миссий требует не только меткой стрельбы, но и умения использовать окружение, устраивать засады и действовать скрытно. Искусственный интеллект противников достаточно умен, чтобы бросить вызов даже опытным игрокам, заставляя постоянно адаптировать тактику. История интригует и не отпускает до самого финала, раскрывая заговоры и предательства. Разнообразие миссий, от штурма укрепленных объектов до спасения заложников, не дает заскучать. People giving bad reviews forget this game is free. This is a free RTS that's pretty good. Not perfect, it's rough around the edges, but it's literally free, literally no downside.
Neat factions but overall the game is very janky. Kept getting full-screen flickers, had to run the game in compatibility mode. Pathing is EXTREMELY basic, which is a crucial thing for RTS games. There is literally no collision detection. The maps are individually separated into sections, and if the unit is told to go to a section it isn't currently in it'll path to the center of the next section. Otherwise everything just moves in a straight line. It's also missing a lot of very common quality of life functions for RTS games.
