40/100 STAY AWAY ..barely BETA state - bad game design (screenshots = the current game) - spacefight is just a numbers game with ships - many will get destroyed, no way to prevent it - no real economy or trading, just buy/sell items and buy/repair ships - even lacks a tutorial, figure it out with the sparse text infos.. >>> At this point, it´s barely in EarlyAccess state !! STEAM should require a demo-gameplay-video before listing such crap ...it´s basically a SCAM.7 found this helpful
Well the other 2 reviews are a little junk as they are not about the game mechanics but the grafix-setting which can be handled. For the game mechanics, it is nearly intresting and unique: 1. as always you are noob at begin and need to build a little flottila by doing easy missions 2. you go to a mission and drop all your fighters out 3. you let it auto battle or you click on an enemy fighter which you think it best target. So the outcome you get creds and parts to build out your station and repair The rest it tinkering yourself out. So yes a definite buy for a sale. It is also nearly cathing how it turns out on higher levels !!! A real tactic+strategic scifi game /thumbs up) Wll done Dev :) ---- Caution First Boss ist too steep. Tried it 4 times. now I am boared... Next game5 found this helpful
Don't buy this if you are using an ultra-widescreen monitor. Dispute having 5120x1440 as an option in the settings the game does not actually scale to this correctly. On the map screen its a little frustrating having to right click and drag rotate the map to read the info on the boxes on screen but its manageable. The problem is after the battle. The victory/defeat message does not scale so you can't see the bottom of the message, therefore you cant click to proceed or whatever the prompt is. Enter / Escape does not help either. Unplayable for me unless I want to run it in windowed mode or downscale the size, both of which I do not wish to do.3 found this helpful
Space Alliance: Frontier is an indie space strategy game that aims to combine tactical fleet combat, station management, exploration, and resource gathering into a large-scale science-fiction experience. Developed and published by Black Lime Studio, the game places players in the middle of a conflict against the insectoid D’Ahari race as humanity and its allies struggle to survive across a dangerous solar system. While the project clearly comes from a smaller independent studio, there is a noticeable amount of ambition behind its design. The game attempts to create the feeling of commanding a fragile interplanetary operation where every battle, trade decision, and station upgrade contributes toward long-term survival. The overall premise is straightforward but works well within the genre. Players operate as part of the Alliance, protecting colonies, trade routes, miners, and military outposts from hostile alien forces. Rather than focusing heavily on cinematic storytelling or scripted drama, the game centers its attention on systems and progression. The appeal comes from slowly expanding influence, strengthening fleets, and surviving increasingly dangerous encounters while navigat…
