About Ironfell
Embark on an epic crusade across all of space and time in real time. From humble beginnings, you and your ponies can explore and conquer thousands of realms by land and by sea.
Collect resources, build an army, and crush those who dare challenge you (or just plant flowers and raise ponies).
In Ironfell you can can gather stockpiles of resources to gain an unfair advantage over your enemies. The longer you’ve been playing for, the more resources you have, the stronger you are. And you take that full advantage into battles set in a massive persistent world.
Start a new rogue-like game every day or build an impregnable fortress that nobody can destroy.

This game is wonderful I got into a war with a man named rojo and kited him with a catapult I did this because he attempted to destroy my little island base, the game is awesome and has so much opportunity and freedom. If you like absolute hard-core RTS games you'll love this one good luck! PS. You can't cheat and I didn't cheat8 found this helpful
I played for a bit and had some fun but then i got in a war which was fun at first but it quickly became apparent that my enemy was most likely cheating somehow since his swordsmen were able to destroy my walls and towers in 2 or 3 seconds while my catapults barely put a dent in his towers' hp even after about 10 seconds of attacking. his catapults also moved much faster than my swordsmen which let him kite my walls which he already was able to destroy before i had time to react. the game itself is fun but it seems like cheating is pretty common and there's no way to report players as far as i could see. it's free so try it if you want, hopefully they'll fix the cheating issue otherwise i think there's no real value in playing it.4 found this helpful
"Ironfell" is a garbage 2D retro pixel live service crapfest, and it looks like the developers might have yanked the back end completely, so it's unclear how playable this is going to be for you if you decide you want to slum it and play garbage. What do you do in the game? It's a badly made and poorly balanced strategy game with a hex map and no compelling reason to want to play. According to the developers blurb it's all about hoarding resources or something, but if a dead game collapses in a forest and nobody ever played it, how do we even know? This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so …2 found this helpful
Before I played Ironfell 2, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
1 found this helpful
When you start it, there is an error popup saying that the server is temporarily down, pls retry in a few minutes. I think I tried re-connecting across a hour. So, the servers are probably just down. Btw why Mac only? Almost every game engine is now cross-platform. I can't imagine anyone making a game in Mac's own API or whatever, what a waste of time - since Mac isn't even a gaming platform. Please feel free to comment, I'll update the review.
