Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game (RTS) set in the alternate reality of 1920+, just after the end of the Great War. The Game lets you control giant dieselpunk mechs, combining epic singleplayer and coop campaigns as well as skirmishes with intense action on the battlefield for multiplayer fans, Iron Harvest is the classic real-time strategy game fans have been waiting for.Tradition clashes with scientific and technological progress, while Europe is still recovering from the brutal battles of the World War. Cities are being rebuilt and in the countryside, the era of the Iron Harvest has begun. Farmers are uncovering the remains of the majestic walking machines that had fought on the battlefields of the Great War.
In the midst of this chaos, a new threat appears that will put Europe’s very existence at risk. Secret forces are putting everything they can towards destabilization of entire countries, determined to set the world on fire once again and finally seize control.

Skirmish is a pain to play, AI is busted makes coop terrible.1 found this helpful
After compleating whole story and figuring out defensive mission on Saxony (objective is to separate their forces, so just back a little bit back for first defense, and make it more into anti infantry. second defense make into anti mech, after that it's cake walk). The story itself is good, but comming to end, feels like half baked and rushed with no climate to it, why should they make allience, than just survive the end. the world map is half done, I don't know if it's bug or you just can't move on the map, that isn't visualy appeling, they had oportunity to make something simmilar like "hearths of iron" map, or old bud gold "Rise of Legends" map. The release of Dawn of War IV is comming up, so maybe just maybe, they will returt to their game and fix it with what they learned.1 found this helpful
Not quite your standard place building, train unit from building RTS. The aesthetic and theme of the game has value. The gameplay overcomplicates something that was already perfected 25 years ago. Because of this I can't recommend it to any like-minded RTS players.
Really good game and fun World, only complaint is that easy is too easy but the next difficulty up after easy is way to hard.
Its a fun RTS. Works great on Linux
A bitt buggy. But the mechs are cool.
