I wish there was a neutral. Henry controls very slippery and those green pads are incredibly hard to jump on. The hammer level is frustrating because those things yeet you. The download is very large for what this is but I was laughing while playing it so worth it I guess.2 found this helpful
Warning: Asset Flip! "Jumping Henry" is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
Here we are in the "Just why???" section of Steam Direct with one of the laziest "Digital Homicide" style asset flips I've seen in literally minutes (yeah, Steam is full of this kind of junk). It's a bunch of Unreal Marketplace assets arranged into a pointless, directionless 3D platformer minimum viable product. The only thing that's missing is a cash grab price tag and paid reviews from Russia. And while it's slightly more ethical when those are absent, the game itself is indistinguishable in quality from those more sinister asset flips. There's nothing here worth your time. So, "Jumping Henry" is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creatin…
Massive game, graphics are great. Platform around to get some coins, you can jump up to 4 times, flappy bird style. This was covered as part of this week's episode of Free2Play Weekly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S6GZtjGTbg&t=2732
Jumping Henry: The Game That Proves Gravity Is Overrated Henry jumps. That’s it. That’s the game. And yet, somehow, it’s absolutely addicting. You start with one little hop, thinking, "This is easy." Five minutes later, you're hyper-focused, sweaty, and questioning your life choices as you desperately try to grab just one more coin. Henry doesn’t run. He doesn’t fight. He just jumps, like a man possessed by the spirit of a trampoline. There’s no deep lore, no dramatic cutscenes—just you, Henry, and an unreasonable number of coins floating in the air. Why is Henry jumping? Does he have a goal? Is he okay? We may never know. But what we do know is that once you start playing, you won’t stop. One more jump. One more coin. One more failed attempt that makes you want to throw your keyboard into the sun. Simple? Yes. Fun? Way too much. Henry might not have a backstory, but he has hops—and that’s all that matters.
