I gotta say this one was a very adorable read, Qi Cheng's and Wei Qian's story is one of the best I have read, I think is a good depiction of homosexuality in small towns, loving someone who you don't if they love you back, losing the passions for something you actually loved and the bitterness of adult life and so many themes explored in this VN. I love the art style is completely adorable the bright colors and sprites works very well for the story it is telling, it is more on the simple side but the variety of expressions really helps gauge the mood of the scenes and the CGs are few but they are reserved to the best moments, and special effects with the text is absolutely hilarious. The soundtrack is an delight to hear, it encapsulates the feeling well of the scenes and also help the set the familiarity of the place but also the strange nostalgia of visiting a place you haven't seen in years. i found this game off of some random wallpaper engine steam workshop profile. I kind of bought it as a joke because I was like "this game can't be that good" but despite how corny the story telling was I really enjoyed it. I didn't realize I liked the story until I was 8 hours deep because I honestly don't like these games yet I was 8 hours into the game. The soundtrack was repetitive but I really liked it as well, there's just something about it. I don't even know why I'm writing such a long review I just really liked this game. One of my first visual novel/story games that I enjoyed through the whole way. I think a part has to do with that most to some of the stuff in this game I really relate to so it really spoke to me, also probably why I enjoyed this game as much as I did. is this niche or what bro lmk :eyes:
