The game was really good and actually scary. Most importantly, the developers have put a lot of focus on the fact that the game must feel like it takes place somewhere in India. Assets and environment DO feel like they belong in an indian setting. The gameplay was good. The puzzles were also decent. This game was so intriguing that it even managed to hook the attention of my very indifferent, non gamer girlfriend at that time. If you are an Indian reading this, buy this game and support indian developers. That's the only way india can make games and make them real good.3 found this helpful

Kamla: 6/10 Honestly, Kamla is a massive step forward for the Indian game dev community. If you look at it just as a survival horror game, it’s actually pretty good! It drops you into this super creepy, old-school haveli where you play as a Tantrik trying to exorcise a possessed woman. It trades all the usual Western horror tropes for black magic and local folklore, which just makes the whole atmosphere feel way more unsettling and close to home. What really blows my mind is the budget. The fact that they managed to build this on an initial budget of just ₹5 Lakh is absolutely insane. Most games need a hundred times that amount just to get a working demo out the door. It really shows how much passion and grit the developers poured into it. That being said, you can definitely feel that tight budget when you're actually playing it. It has its fair share of jank—the controls can feel clunky, picking stuff up is sometimes frustrating, and running around looking for items while hiding from Kamla gets a bit repetitive after a while. I’m giving it a solid 6/10. It’s definitely rough around the edges and not perfectly polished, but the scares are genuine. More importantly, it p…1 found this helpful

Very boring game, looks bad and it's too dark. Bad level design, fetch quests to perform ritual... nah not for me. It's definitely overrated here probably by indians.
