In Kommissar, you take the rôle of a regime commissar. A perfect designed gear for the machine of peace & wealth utopia.
Your duty and commitment is to lead the Ministry of Truth and to keep the Independent City-State of Roulettenburg united under the regime's iron fist.
Mobilize its agents, neutralize the insurgents in the districts, interrogate the suspects and watch out for your fellow citizens whilst capturing dissidents all for the glory of your fatherland.

Sadly, although concept wise it is great, the dystopian atmosphere resembling [i] Papers, Please [/i], the game is flawed from the beggining. I bought the game a while back, a long while back, and have been checking from time to time to see if it had any updates. It's been years since this game had an update. Although it states it is in Early Access, this game has been completely abandoned. I do not recommend you buy this vaporware.3 found this helpful
I can't recommend this game is not playable not even as an early access game. Core game play does not work and there are a lot of game breaking bugs and most of content missing from the game. I played this game 2017 and there haven't been any updates for this game in 3 years. So this game can be rated as abandoned. There used to be news sections, but developers probably removed all news to hide the fact that they stopped developing this game years ago. Most of what is said about this game development in that early access report information is truthful about state of development and estimated times delivering game. I very rarely post negative reviews about the game, but I feel in this case it can't be avoided. How this game is sold could be also seen as misleading customer with false information witch is not legal in many countries this is not normal early access. Valve should take this game down an refund everybody who have bought this.3 found this helpful
Early Access abandonware. I'm miffed that this was abandoned, it could've become a great game in the same vein as Papers, Please. It is in the very early stages of development, do not buy it, it is abandoned. The game is unfinished and it's terribly unintuitive. Hard to understand who the suspects are, what it's appropriate to ask them, and what the appropriate punishment is. Also the clues are very vague. A very poor investigation simulator all around.
Not finished, not even for early access. Don't waste your time.
