English isn't my native language, so please forgive any grammatical errors or inconsistencies. I really enjoy the 'Beholder Series', but I must criticize 'Beholder 3'. The graphics are significantly improved this time, but a multitude of bugs have left me bewildered. For example, some stuttering requires restarting the game to fix, interactive actions require constantly zooming in and out to click. In some places, you can even get stuck on stairs. YES ! ! ! Reloading the save file doesn't help, forcing you to start over. Of course, if you're already played the 1, 2 and 'Conductor' like I have. The you can give it a try. However, I must warn you that the story of this game isn't as good as the before series. If you've never played the 'Beholder Series' before, I strongly recommend that you play the 1, 2 and 'Conductor' series (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). Otherwise, you'll quickly lose patience and interest in this buggy Beholder 3. Lastly, I don;t understand why my computer is LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! DEVELOPERS ! DO YOU TYING TO REPLACE 'CYBERPUNK 2077' AS THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER KILLER WITH THIS ? IT'S UNBELIEVABLE ! THE GAME,S OPTIMIZATION IS TERRIBLE ! !…5 found this helpful
A MASSIVE downgrade from the first game. If you liked Beholder 1, you might be disappointed with this game. Everything is just worse. From the characters to the story. If you don't believe me, buy it and see for yourself. As you can see from my playtime, I gave up in the first 30 minutes.3 found this helpful
I do agree with the consensus that this is probably the weakest, as it tries to combine both the apartment custodian element of the first game and the beaurocratic elements of the second and ended up not excelling in either. I still enjoyed it which boils down to family. In the first game the family was a tragedy which I felt bad for but I rarely felt any close connection to them, no 'true' connection. This game however did a far better job making me feel for the family in ways I didn't in the first game and this is what saves this game mainly. But yes, it is probably the weakest of the franchise.2 found this helpful
Отличная игра, но пройти очень сложно, новичкам вообще играть будет нереально1 found this helpful
Beholder 3 is every bit as good as the first game. I struggled with how linear Beholder 2 was and thus did not find it to be as good of a game. Beholder 3 returns to the darkness that made the first game so good. Beholder 3 has multiple endings, missable achievements and missions, and your choices definitely matter. The reason I give it a thumbs down is because Beholder 3 is plagued with bugs. I encountered situations where I would press "E" but it simply would not give me the options to enter a room, peephole, ride the subway, etc. Reloading save did not help with this and I had to exit completely out of the game and then reload. Once I started getting to the fourth and top floors of the Ministry, entering an office would cause the camera to zoom in with no option to zoom out, rendering the game unplayable. Saving and then loading that save typically fixed it. Another issue I had when riding the elevator at the Ministry is that the camera would start shaking uncontrollably. This would fix itself after a few seconds. The bottom line is that Beholder 3 is an excellent story and if you liked the first game, you'll love it. You're going to have to deal with a lot of bugs though. The g…
