About Krimson
Krimson is a challenging gritty rhythm platformer featuring heavy electronic metal music. You're an unknown spawn moving through a hellish world as it shifts rhythmically to the music. One wrong move means death but the checkpoints are often, and death is very short.
Hell hath rhythm and only the ones who can dance with it can conquer it. Platforms, obstacles, hazards, objects, and rules change in synch with music, the heart of this game. This game is an interactive industrial electronic techno dubstep metal album so prepare your finest headphones for this one; your ears will thank you for it!

The game takes place in four settings;
A blood-soaked organic and demonic setting filled with red all over, complemented by dirty distorted electronic tunes,
A sharp, filthy, grungy, and ruthless industrial setting accompanied by grungy industrial musical madness.
A psychedelic LSD-fueled acid trip that just gets trippier with techno, acid and dubstep beats to bang your bloody head to 'till you don't feel your neck.
And a brain-melting, eye-piercing, hot molten metal madness of fire and lava with the most brutal destructive devastating argent metal to melt your eyes too.
You will not get comfortable. The game demands your attention. It's a challenge of your skills, your mind, and sometimes, your patience. Get comfortable with not being comfortable. But that's a price worth paying for those willing to conquer hell itself.

very fun little platformer, absolutely in love with the visuals, which somehow are readable despite all the flashing (I'm serious the flashing is CRAZY, do not play if you're at all prone to epilepsy or even just dislike flashy visual, this is a rough sell unless you're already drawn to the aesthetic) Even if you do not give the game a shot, please please please P L E A S E look up the soundtrack for this game on bandcamp by CryingPsycho, the soundtrack is soooooo good and unique, very gritty distorted metal, specifically the vocal tracks were absolute highlights for me. Things I LOVE: -It's tight but simple platforming, precision platformer for sure, moving with the rhythm often had me in a flow state. -T H E M U S I C !!! i'm seriously in love with Self-Destruct in particular, absolute banger! -The visuals are trippy as hell and i love it, it fits the vibe so well -It's really challenging as a platformer, but barely punishing. There's a few kinda autoscroll sections that felt a bit frustrating but ultimately the difficulty was super enjoyable in my opinion Things that bothered me a bit: -when the flow state works it works well, when it doesn't it can feel really awful and fru…1 found this helpful
Wow, what an amazing hidden gem! At first glance, some things will be obvious to you - either you like this "argent metal destructive" vibe, or not. If you do. Do be aware that they're not kidding - this is a precision platformer at heart, and it is quite challenging. Though, for Krimson specifically, I prefer to call this genre of games an "assault on the senses" type genre. As you may see from the store page, this game is super audiovisual heavy, and for that I'm happy that it doesn't overstay its welcome at all, it will roughly take you 5 hours to finish with decent gameplay (from your end I mean). However, what isn't so obvious is that Krimson is actually super well balanced gaming challenge. It's not just a treat to play through, headbanging to the insane music madness, but also offers a great feeling of escalating challenge. Krimson will throw various gimmicks at you in 4 very distinct biomes, each biome also has its own "central gimmick" - like changing gravity, infinite jumps, conveyor belts, shape-shifting obstacles - and many more. But then each level also introduces mini-gimmick obstacles for each segment, and the game is designed in a really fun way where it's always:…1 found this helpful
What a hidden gem! Absolute cinema! Not as hard as it looks!
This is an amazing demon meatball plat-roll-jumper. From A to A+ I need a mod to be Meatwad.
