wish there would be a possibilty to play my own songs that i can upload an mp3 file and the game would generate a level to it.. but sadly i go crazy by listening to this one song for the 100th time again. away from that the game is fun and got a great potential.3 found this helpful
I like Synthwave games. I like tunnel racing games. I enjoyed the demo for Synthwave Tunnel and decided to pick it up, and this just serves as a reminder why picking up early access games is best done right before release or only when you're fairly certain you're getting what you paid for. For me, this amounts to $3 for about 6.5 minutes of gameplay. Outside of things moving faster as time goes on and a high-score system there's zero incentive to keep going. Despite recommending it, I'd suggest that only to people who really, really want to try it early.2 found this helpful
Sooo you might think ~10 minutes is too short of a playtime to review a game but this is a VERY simple. Since this is early access, obviously consider that while reading this review. So far, the game is very straightforward. There is no settings (at least not yet), and all there is to interact with is pressing play and then using left and right arrows to jump from platform to platform, collecting white spheres that play small notes to the beat of the background song. As of now there is only one song, but I'll admit, it helps get into the vibe well. What I Hope to See (and some of these are planned to be added in the future): - Obviously a basic settings menu for graphical setting, controls and keybinds, audio and volume, etc. - Other difficulties, likely in the form of songs with higher BPM, or a mode where after collecting so many white spheres, it transitions to a faster-paced song. - The implementation of an automatic BPM detector for custom song use. It would be helpful if like Melody's Escape 2 and Audiosurf, the game was able to let you import a file from your computer, and then use a basic system to detect the song's BPM and adjust the difficulty based on that. And, in case…
I got the demo of this game during the Steam Next Fest. It was more than addicting, and incredibly satisfying to play. Highly recommend this one to anyone looking to enjoy every single replay of the game.
