About Kick'n Hell
Kick brains, wolves, skeletons, ... Kick EVERYTHING! Kick'n Hell is a wild, unforgiving 3D precision platformer where your only weapon is your mighty foot. Kick brains as you parkour your way through the depths of Hell on a mission to defeat Satan. Every kick sends you flying, every mistake can cost you dearly. You'll need precision, skill, and a whole lot of patience.
If you fail a jump, the risk exists that you fall all the way back down. This means you will have to start the stage again, because hell is a place of suffering. Sometimes it is smarter to take your time for a jump, rather than rushing the level.
The game harnesses Chi-energy. Collect all of them to learn the traits of a true martial artist. This is your ultimate test after all!
Prove that you are the ultimate martial artist and go kick Satan in his face!

With Baby Steps coming out just a short while ago, I gave this a shot since they gave me a key for it. Unfortunately it lacks a lot of charm, the mechanics aren't really enjoyable to me and the game is actually rather restrictive and almost like rage-bait rather than being a fun game. Failure is going to happen often in this game because you're basically doing gigantic leaps through the air but you have to start your jump backwards by kicking a squishy platform. If you angle it wrong, you won't make it and fall down and you go back to a checkpoint. Unfortunately falling down is poorly designed and you have to pause the game and go to "respawn" and then hit "yes" to go back to a checkpoint. That might not sound like much but try to imagine it in your head, doing that over and over again. Something like Baby Steps would never have you doing something like that and actually makes the failure a bit of entertainment to go with it. I rambled a bit so heres a summary. It lacks charm, it lacks engagement, it's not really well thought out and I found it to be rather shallow and boring despite the high difficulty. It's tedius, it's boring. It's not a horrible game, but it's just not a good …2 found this helpful
A fun foddian game with a few il, a checkpoint mode and a mode with no checkpoint when you are ready to climb the whole tower.2 found this helpful
Underrated game, a real challenge, harder than most of the climbing games, and it's very very original too, the art style, athough it is said that it has been chosen for economic reasons, fits it perfectly. The ending, is perfect and everybody would be satisfied of such a challenge. There's a lot of dark humor in the game, I like it. I'd definitely recommend, but it might be slow sometimes.1 found this helpful
Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series. My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out one of the best climbing games called Kick N Hell on Steam This game was developed by Fire Foot Studios, who also worked on the cooperative survival game Jester: A Foolish Ritual. It follows the adventures of an unnamed martial artist who has been condemned to hell. Unwilling to accept his fate he resolves to escape using nothing but his martial arts skills and his mighty foot to ascend the nine circles of Hell. As you progress toward freedom, youll content with the vengeful denizens of hell and ultimately Satan himself, who will do everything in his power to prevent your escape. Kick In Hell is built around a simple but incredibly addictive concept, using your kicks to propel yourself between points. Youll need to carefully time each jump, climbing up an every changing maze of deadly traps and foes. With each successful jump youll edge one step closer to freedom, but one mistake can result in a helpless plummet back to the beginning of your journey. The game is an incredibly d…1 found this helpful
Although kind of hard, Kick'n Hell is a great game! It was very fun and looks great! Being able to kill enemies in one kick is pretty cool! The skeletons don't deserve it but i sure as hell kicked them 10/101 found this helpful
