it's old maid. rather meh
That was good. You get some interesting characters, and an original card game which is quite fun... and you also get Lamia (come on, what's not to like?)
Lamia’s Game Room is a small but distinctive indie experience that blends card-based gameplay with a moody, dialogue-driven mystery, creating an atmosphere that feels more theatrical than mechanical. Developed by Digital Crafter and Lord Ken Production and published by Digital Crafter alongside Light of Creators, the game places the player into an unsettling scenario where escape is tied to winning a series of games against other trapped participants. From the beginning, the tone is intentionally uneasy, with the strange setting and enigmatic host creating a sense that every interaction may carry hidden meaning beyond the surface rules of play. The central premise revolves around being confined in a single room with Lamia and several other characters, each with their own personalities and implied backstories. Progression is achieved by engaging in card matches, but these encounters are framed less as pure competition and more as narrative beats. Between games, dialogue unfolds that slowly reveals fragments of character motivations, fears, and secrets, encouraging players to pay attention not only to the mechanics of winning but also to what is said and left unsaid. This structure …
Fun simple card game, easy to get all achievements, story is pretty okay Only thing that's a personal issue is I suck at card games and at first I was just like 'okay how do I play this?' Then I realized 'oh okay it is like Uno in a sense' from then on it clicked and it got easier but It was a tad bit confusing on what the faces you pick can do Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. I think each character has some type of weakness with the make a face selection. Another thing I learned is uh... don't get the Lamia card. Other than that strategic game very fun and a great time passer. Oh and even though it says its playable for steamdeck I feel like it should be verified because its pretty much a point and click to do stuff you can literally just tap the screen and the game will work just fine So if you are worried it won't work somehow it works amazingly So that's a plus
The game forces you to lose on about round 7, no matter what side you pick it seems to be 100% the death card on the last draw against the opponent. Good luck
It's not very good
