"Learning Life - Mysteeri 24/7" is a somewhat awful "learning" game intended to teach vocational practitioners how to do their job. I have to tell you something... if you run to Steam to learn how to do vocational rehabilitation, you should not be engaged in the work of vocational rehabilitation. It's not in English, but that's okay, the language of bad games is universal. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Learning Life - Mysteeri 24/7 is a free educational game that was originally designed for VR and is only available in Finnish. It features three loosely connected adventures where a person moves to a new apartment, applies to work and learns general life control skills. The gameplay is from first-person. You move around in a simple environment - usually your apartment - and do various tasks that are given to you by the game's narrator. Sometimes you get more involved mini-games like a job interview where you have a limited amount of time to catch appropriate topics and discard off-topic ones. As you'd expect from an educational game, the execution is functional but a little on the bland side. The game world has a lot of interactivity and potential for amusing physics interactions, although from an accessibility perspective I can't help but wonder if it would be difficult for someone who hasn't really played this kind of 3d-games before to come to grips with the more physical elements of the gameplay? Another thing worth mentioning is that the game's sense of humor is usually rather cheesy. For example, the narrator spouts botched film one-liners when you're vacuuming piles of du…
