Barely even playable, you can't interact with things if your looking right at them, you have to back up some specific distance and then it will allow you to interact. You can't even tell what is interactible because of this so you end up not sure of what you can even do. The entire game seems like it was thrown together with AI and wasn't tested whatsoever. I don't know what the purpose of this is and I didn't have high expectations at all going into it but it's easily the worst thing i've played in a very long time. It might be kind of interesting if the basic mechanics worked. You can't even click on the first menus half the time because the chat window blocks the buttons. When I say unplayable I mean the game is unplayable, basic things don't work.

This "game" is a glorified email capture trap. To even get into the game, you have to register. Then, assuming you can navigate the UI, you are presented with a janky rendition of 'find the numbers for the passcode' puzzles, that ultimately rely on you looking through a camera most of the time to see a different rendered version of the same low-quality asset-flip rooms. Whatever "personality traits" this game is supposedly analysing, the biggest is definitely gullibility - glad I didn't use my main email for this; this is clearly just a quick and easy way to harvest your information, and it's amazing that it's even allowed on the Steam store. Do not download.

Yeah, pretty unplayable. Literally sabotages itself, especially with the jigsaw puzzle... You try to move a piece, it backs you out of the puzzle entirely. Or a finger scanner that won't operate no matter how close or far or angled you are to it. On top of unplayability, just loud music with no sound settings at all... really disappointing.

MindEscape is a pretty unusual game because it is basically trying to turn a personality test into an actual game. Instead of giving me a long list of questions, it puts me inside a series of 3D escape rooms and watches how I deal with puzzles and different situations. The idea is that my choices, reaction times and way of solving problems are used to build a personality profile. I think that is a much more interesting idea than simply asking me to choose which statement sounds most like me. The escape room side is simple but enjoyable. I am exploring connected rooms, looking for things I can interact with and working out what the game wants me to do next. The challenges are designed around different situations rather than just being one type of puzzle repeated over and over. I like that because it makes me think about how I naturally approach a problem instead of feeling like I am just completing a normal puzzle game. The personality side is obviously the main reason this game exists. It uses the Big Five model and looks at things like openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism, along with problem solving and communication preferences. I like the co…
