not a bad little puzzle game. a few things were hard to understand. but i could just be dumb... i will say its been well over a year and they havent put out the hotel level yet1 found this helpful
Every time I try to play this game, I have to quit because of two reasons 1. The lighting. So many times, I get stuck simply because I couldn't see something. Even if it is suppose to be intentional, it is far too annoying to feel satisfying. I also get headaches from trying to stain myself to read small numbers/letters in horrible lighting. 2. Some of the puzzle solutions are so unintuitive, that once again, even if you figure it out, it is unsatisfying. I sometimes resort to just trying every item I have until a click, but even then, I miss stuff like using a box cutter on a teddy bear. I enjoy puzzle games and would even just suffer through puzzle games I am bad at, but this was just so not fun that I can't.1 found this helpful
Complete lack of polish both visually and in puzzle design. Only played the first "easy" room. It was so dark and dim that I completely missed an interactable object I was supposed to find, leading my first and only hint to be completely useless to me. Puzzles frequently changed things in other parts of the room with no indication that anything had been changed, leading to constant bouts of wandering around aimlessly. Two other puzzles required leaps in logic that I'm sure must have made sense to the devs, but were completely unintuitive. Even once I gave up and looked up a guide I still had trouble locating the next steps as everything is just too dark and similar to stand out.
I have no idea if I bought this or not. It was sitting in my library and I was in the mood for an escape room. I don't recommend it. The rooms are really dark and muddy and I was constantly left with the feeling I was missing things. Doing something can change things in entirely different areas than where you're looking, leaving you to wander aimlessly wondering what changed. There's a moderate amount of trial and error gameplay involved in figuring out what lock a code belongs to. The set piece puzzles are all pretty simple but the game frequently runs on small quantities of moon logic.
Could have been a great game. Not everyone wants to play with an Ouija board even if it's just in a game. That's as far as I got.
I have mixed feelings about this one. It's a fairly decent escape room game, the puzzles could've been a bit more challenging for my taste, but if you want something chill and not overly complicated it's good enough. It has some bugs like not saving the settings preferences and I experienced some items glitching that are not really game breaking bugs but they're annoying. It's rough around the edges,
