About Escape Simulator
Solve intricate puzzles across 28 handcrafted escape rooms and thousands of community-created levels, picking up and examining every interactive object to find your way out. Play solo or team up with friends online in a fully-featured puzzle game that lets you build and share your own rooms through an integrated level editor.
Escape Simulator is a first-person puzzler you can play solo or in an online co-op. Explore a growing set of highly interactive escape rooms. Move furniture, pick up and examine everything, smash pots and break locks! Supports community-made rooms through the level editor.
Interactive Puzzles: Rummage through 28 rooms filled with puzzles designed by real-life escape room operators. If something is not nailed to the wall, you can pick it up.
Online Co-Op: All the rooms are playable in an online co-op. We recommend to play built-in rooms with up to 3 players (but you're welcome to play with more). Community rooms have been tested with up to 10 people. Customize your character and join with friends to work-out puzzles together. More heads are better than one!
Examine Everything: Read through books, examine ancient artifacts and find clues to riddles. Need to cross-reference a clue? No, problem - just pin it to the screen.
Community-Made Rooms: The game includes a room editor with which you can design your own escape rooms and puzzles. Through workshop integration, you get to play awesome things the community has created. Currently, there are more than 4000 community-rooms available!

I love this game, the puzzles arent so hard you need a guide but theyre hard enough to keep you busy its a lot of fun to play and i really enjoyed playing this with my friends

Some of the puzzles are really difficult, but it is a lot of fun.
It has a very simple and bold aesthetic which is nice because it feels iconic and leaves much of the puzzling to abstract though and not physically hiding stuff or cluttering the puzzles with visual noise. There's actually quite a lot of rooms to escape from in the base game, plus lots of additional DLC that acts as crossover with other games like Portal, Power Wash or the Talos principle and brings over their unique style and aesthetics. The puzzles in the rooms are varied, they use a lot of trops, keys in locks, codes, but they're all derived in different and unique ways. There's an additional little hidden token minigame to make you want to return to the level and complete a little treasure hunt, often involving additional mini puzzles. I slept on this game for a while and I shouldn't have. I played not in VR and the game still works well, I have not tried multiplayer or VR yet, but they look fun. This is definitely worth a buy.
