Uh... to be honest, I did start playing this blindfolded, I just saw that this game was made on source, and that from the thumbnail it seemed like a real weird and freaky one, didn't watch any trailers or screenshots. If only me and my friends knew what we were stepping into. To be clear: I did play quite a lot of freaky games over the years, like cruelty squad, (not played, unfortunately, only watched) funny pizza land, the original POSTAL, Outlast, revisit the hl2 beta once in a while, and none of these and past games have yet to have put me to such levels of confusion and-I ♥♥♥♥ you not, fear. Mostly, for the safety of my PC. Now, that my head is clear, I will say that this game is... interesting. Kind of. I didn't experience all of it, I stopped playing after the Denial section, but even then - I'd say that it was quite the journey. Maybe one day I'll come back to it, and go through it all, but surely not now. (Oh, and I almost forgot about AI generated textures. Developer did not disclose that the game has them, but they are there, and are quite plentiful. Just so you will be warned and won't have to overthink, and wonder if your eyes deceive you.)

really cool if you are the type of person to enjoy experimental/abstract art. It's a bit of a walking simulator with some puzzles here and there. It's exciting to see what the next level will look like, and there's a surprising amount of depth beyond the surface. Make sure you save your game as there seem to be no autosaves

trash. its quite literally reskinned and modified TF2 maps packaged as a "hide and seek" experience. sound effects are annoying and grating, and combined with the visuals make me want to vomit. at a certain point, maps repeat into themselves due to this game's triggers not being coded right. only positive is that it's free. avoid.

Lest - Deluxe 24 is one of those games that feels like I have stepped directly into somebody else’s nightmare. It throws me into a surreal world where I have to play a strange game of hide and seek while everything around me slowly becomes more distorted and unsettling. I really liked how unpredictable the environments feel, because I never quite know what kind of bizarre place I am going to enter next. The gameplay mixes exploration, platforming and puzzles with a little bit of first person action. I spend most of my time trying to find my target and work out how to progress through increasingly strange areas. Some sections require me to search for clues or figure out how the environment works, while others put me in more dangerous situations. I enjoyed the variety because the game never feels completely like a normal walking simulator. The abstract level design is easily my favorite part. The game moves through different psychological themes, including denial, guilt, depression, resentment and acceptance, and the environments become increasingly strange as I progress. I liked looking around for hidden details because there is clearly more going on than what I initially see. The…
