It's true, this game takes you through the five stages of grief. First, you're in denial, believing that this is a good game. Second, you become frustrated with the game's annoying platforming mechanics. Third, you bargain, pushing further into the game, hoping for it to change. Fourth, you're depressed: it's too late to refund the game, it's in your steam library forever. Fifth, acceptance: maybe some day the developers will fix the game, and it will be better. In all seriousness, the foundation for a great puzzle game is here, the story is very intriguing, and the gimmick with the lantern making rooms disappear and reappear has a lot of potential. However, the game overall is just very frustrating, with incredibly vague hints and very janky movement that makes platforming almost impossible. I couldn't continue after the second chapter, however if the developer were to make the hints clearer (or maybe give you a map of the house) or fix the awful platforming, then I would consider revisiting.

Tested the game for the developer. - Very nice game. Definitely fun to play when you just need a calm game to play after a long day. Hope to see more old school styled games like this released from Twisted Squirrel. Give it a shot!
