Experiment Of Being

"Experiment Of Being" is an attempt at using Unity to create an "escape room" game, but without any polish or bugfixing, so it doesn't work and you may not even be able to complete the game. The escape room puzzles have a bit of an "Electronics" theme to them, because that's what escape rooms needed. Yeah. I guess there's two schools of thought about whether games and software should be tested before being launched. Unlike the developer here, I'm in the first school of thought. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. i managed to get the scanner working, got correct pattern with salt. but then when i started the generator, something weird happened. i had the canisters in front of the generator and the power cord went ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy with collisions and started flying around the room with supersonic speed. couldnt grab it to put it into the computer. pretty gamebreaking if you ask me.

Was a little difficult to understand what I had to do at first, but looking closer really helped get through the game. The laser frequency did stump me though, and I ended up randomly guessing, and somehow ended up being right. I don't know if it was just a lucky guess or if the frequency didn't actually matter, but overall this was a pretty good game with a fascinating premise.
