Leucanthemum Eyes

Pretty good, though very short, point-and-click horror game. The atmosphere is good, very tense, helped in part by the great soundtrack. There's some bangers in here, and also some genuinely unsettling tracks which set the mood well. I like the artstyle a lot, reminds me of random animations I used to watch on yt when I was a kid. The story is depressing, other than that, whatever. Couldn't manage to find out what's up with the door locked behind those bars, and I'm missing one art piece from the extras menu...weird. I recommend checking out this guy's itch.io page, he has other games there as well, all worth trying. Including this one!

First Renpy game on this style I ever play, and it was amazing! Loved the story and interactions, atmosphere and horror vibe. Short but Such a cool game!

the vibe of this game reminds me of old flash-based horror adventure games, which i have a lot of fondness for. the story is pretty sparse, but there's enough of an emotional hook to make it work. it's a little clunky, particularly in sections with strict time requirements, but overall i liked it enough to 100% it. definitely worth a try

I didnt get everything but I had an amazing time playing. I found the the atmosphere scary with the background noises. No puzzles but I get that for an 1 hour game. In the end amazing vibe and everything.

Leucanthemum Eyes is a creepy little horror adventure that I found surprisingly atmospheric. I play as Daisy, who takes shelter from the rain inside a tunnel and suddenly finds herself trapped in a filthy underground place filled with ghosts and a mysterious woman. I liked the setup because the transition from an ordinary rainy day to a nightmarish sewer happens so quickly. The gameplay mixes point and click adventure elements with dungeon crawling and ghost combat. I have to explore the environment, search for things that can help me escape and deal with supernatural threats along the way. I enjoyed the combination because it gives me something to think about while also making the exploration feel dangerous. The ghost combat is especially interesting because it takes inspiration from games where supernatural enemies have to be confronted more carefully than ordinary monsters. I cannot simply rush through every encounter, so I have to pay attention to what is happening and manage my resources.
