Livestream 2: Escape from Togaezuka Happy Place

There's no nudity, just some fan service in a really boring and slow horror game. Controls are also very weirdly mapped and it doesn't give you an option to change it

After playing Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami, I was really curious to see what the second game would do differently. And honestly, I had a really good time with it. This time, we follow Himari, Aina, and Miyabi, who become trapped inside the abandoned Togaezuka Happy Place shopping mall. I liked the change from the hotel to the mall because it gives the sequel its own setting and story. One of my favorite changes is that the three girls are separated at the beginning. In the first game, the girls were mostly together, while here they start on different floors. You switch between them, find items and clues, and help each other progress. I really liked this change. In the first game, the girls being together made things feel more direct, but here each girl has her own situation. What you do with one character can help another, so switching between them actually feels important to the gameplay. I also really liked the phone/video feature. You can watch additional videos to learn more about the girls and their pasts. I thought this was a cool way to give them more personality and background. The two are loosely connected, so you can play whichever you like; they are both great games! Don't expect any crazy improvements, the original did not leave anything to be desired, anyway. Both games are polished. The formula remains mostly unchanged. The original was focused more on the horror aspect, with an intricate villain background and a progressively more eerie atmosphere as you got closer to the roots of the mystery.
