I have to say, it's just okay. But since the base game is free, it's worth checking out. Personally, I lost interest after about 30 minutes. The controller works fairly well, but in level 26 (I think it was), I had to jump over a lot of glass surfaces and that was the final straw. The levels before that were simple to mildly challenging, which I would have preferred throughout. Also, every time I start the game, there's a brief loud sound, which is quite unpleasant. AND it's a shame that I'm hearing the same (apparently royalty-free) LoFi music again. There's nothing wrong with a minimal, charming Monkey Ball-inspired game with LoFi music, but whether this one truly delivers on that is another question. I strongly advise against blindly purchasing the DLCs - try the game first and see how it feels for you.

"Lofi Ball" is a really poor quality minimalist low poly marble platformer that looks like someone's homework assignment. And when they handed it in, they were expelled. Because no school would want to be responsible, even in part, for such mediocrity. And it's an amazing cash grab, too. Despite probably 3-4 minutes worth of "game development" going into this, it's not even truly free. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $2 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. There's also a completely delusional $8 worth of garbage DLC stapled onto this train wreck. Digital panhandling, basically, coupled with delusions of grandeur. It's likely the developer spent more time mucking around with the Steam store to add on all this DLC than they did making this …

Like, Has the dev even played the game?! Most late levels aren't possible due to jumps being to large, or just to the overall horrible level design. Along with that, the game is optimized horribly, it ran very poorly on this laptop, even at 720p. Please, don't let this low effort game pollute your library. Overall 3/10

It’s a fun little game, and watching the shattering finish block is a satisfying treat. The controls are tight, and you can stop the ball on the edge and roll it back, which feels great. The ball mechanics are also solid, allowing for compensation over gaps. Overall, for the price, it's a great addition to your library. Well done, VK! Looking forward to your next project!
