Dungeons, crafting, mining, looting, platforming, min/max-ing procedurally generated gear and weapons all jammed in quite a neet RPG package with a helpful fairy. https://youtu.be/45uy1_JrJ0c

Love fast paced action RPG platformer style games? Then stop thinking about it and just give this game a purchase without hesitation.. and thank me later! ...This game oozes both quality and personality and it is simple a joy to play! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVV46CcHb3w The tutorial is hampered by what seems to be a gimmicky double jump back and forth between two walls area, but the key is not try and actually do it right, but to instead just spam your space bar and hit A and D until you glitch your way up. Besides that however, this game is fun as hell to play, to fight the mobs, to discover to items and gear, and mainly just to explore! it feels great to play for sure as well and seems to offer a ton of replay value with the procedural level and loot generation. My only request besides fixing the glitchy double jump area in the tutorial is to add controller support. I feel like this game really "needs" controller support for the majority of people to truly enjoy it. Regardless of the minor faults, this game is a STEAL at only $7.99 USD and could be priced at $15 and still be a good deal. My first impressions score, mostly helped by the strong value is a 95% whic…

Lootcraft is an addicting rpg platformer that allows complete customization in a 2 dimensional world. You can balance your stats, choose weapon type, and stack abilities to your choosing. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the balance between the strength of the different abilities and stats on the armor and weapons. You can make unique combinations when you reach level 25. I've found that it is fun to have a heal and a couple offensive abilities. Sometimes I die when I aggro too many mobs but you can really dodge and weave through the mobs by mastering the intuitive jumping and various weapon styles. You can smoothly flow through the world if you time your jumps well. Lootcraft is a thoughtful and incredibly detailed game that allows the user to create characters that suit their style of fighting. I've loved trying the big two handed weapons as well as the wands and staves. The gems allow you to further customize your character. I love being able to stun and light my enemies on fire. Makes clearing through the endless dungeons even faster! Overall, this game is worth purchasing because of its simple yet beautiful style, intricate game design and loot, and a fun fighting style tha…

The loot system is addictive but sadly rather grindy & annoying past level 15-20 & the storm events only serve to speed up dungeon progression However the art style is quaint & rather pretty The mechanics although a little clunky are overall an enjoyable experience Overall for the price tag, this game is definitely worth a good couple hours of play time :)

Very relaxing game, fun to just lay back and kill levels of monsters. Tons of loot to upgrade and a nice crafting system

I wanted to really enjoy this game. I feel like I gave it an honest try. But in the end it's just not an enjoyable enough experience to continue playing. The developer is great. He responds to feedback and frequently updates the game. But at it's core it doesn't make me want to play more of it. Pros: The controls and combat feel great Cons: The levels are basically the same thing over and over and they only way they scale is through more hp and more damage for the monsters. The loot does not scale accordingly, nor is there enough of it to truly call it lootcraft. There is a potion that increases rarity of item drops by 4% for 6 minutes. But I can easily go 10-15 minutes without finding any weapons or armor to take advantage of that benefit. The bosses are just scaled up versions of the monsters in the normal levels. The only technique to beating them is wearing down their enormous amounts of health. Level ups don't really make you any stronger or give you more attack power. Many of the monsters heal each other, and when combined with already high health they can take forever to kill. This wouldn't be so bad but there is a hidden timer that causes a poison cloud to come in an…
