I wanted to like this game, especially with the awards from the Game Jams. But I just could not get past the third section where you have to navigate around and "not get lost". I got lost. Nothing I tried worked. I felt like I was just looping and was genuinely disappointed. It is certainly possible that I just wasn't understanding it but even the friends I was streaming it to were confused. I hope some accessibility features comes out at some point as well, as the controls were quite clunky and not super intuitive. Yes WASD to move around and space to jump, but the jump depends on how much you hold space, and you have to repress the keys if you're on a new screen. There's definitely potential here, but it needs work.

A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee t…
