I’ve never been so torn between hating and loving a game. And I don’t know how to deal with that or how it really makes me feel. At all! It’s like I don’t like it, it’s just as the store page promises. Dystopian, depressing, tedious. But at the same time, the sorting has something nice and soothing. Something brainless and care-free. Something that always says, I want to go do one more round. Only to be fed up again and leave after one or a few rounds, thinking I cannot do this for 90 minutes to reach the 5k parts sort, dear lord. And then a few days pass, and it’s like, hmm, I feel like sorting again. Madness, absolute madness! My very first time, I only lasted 16 minutes till I was like, " Nope, I’m out”. The second time, I lasted two rounds (about 8 minutes). And I still want to go back in and do a few sortings again, just not right now or right away. So, I’m not ruling out that I’ll never go back in, but maybe not as much as in some other games. I know. It’s weird. And so far, my only real pet peeve is that the keyboard only supports QWERTY, making it hard for me, an AZERTY user, to use the key bindings to quickly sort. Sorting parts, boring right? WRONG! At first it feels tedious, dull and monotonous, but that's the point. Its a low value job! After a few sorts though, you've got nuts and washers down. Then you can tell the difference between the 12mm bolts and the 6mm bolts. Next thing you know you're a sorting savant. Now its all about speed baby. Take that to the ranked online matches and you've got an competitive game! Plus its relaxing to just lean back, throw on some lofi music and sort parts on your own time.5 found this helpful
A simple but somewhat exceptional game, with a handful of unexpected mechanics. Progressing changes the way the game is played, from manual sorting to clicker and then to something diffent. A rather unique addition to the vast and ever growing armada of short games. The game's tone is a bit more than just a relaxing sorting game - expect some bleak and sinister overtone, with a hint of humor. Not many players found in multiplayer, even though there are multiple modes to play. Sadly, no invert y-axis setting, but thats kind of a forgivable offense. stupidly I love this game. I played this when I'm bored and somehow I felt less bored by the end of it. There's a small depth to the game that actually adds up to your perception of how you see the length of the bolts. Game is really good to play when you chatting with someone too, I can see myself probably streaming this game when chatting.2 found this helpful
