What can I say? The game's basically a demo for an RTX version of minecraft. There's no real goal other than to build structures whilst your PC struggles to render it (I had multiple blocks that didn't render at all, and the ones that did brought the FPS down to <50). I'm not an expert on how games should perform when RTX is enabled, but I can safely say that an average of 46FPS is not right, especially for a 5070. There is also no (afaik) support for DLSS Frame Generation, which is a bummer. Also, when I go to change which block I'm placing, it seems to change all of the blocks I've already placed instead of changing the block I'm holding, which makes building a structure with different materials impossible (Unless I'm doing something wrong, which I'm fairly confident I'm not). People have also said this game is an asset flip, but I haven't found any credible evidence to support nor offend this claim, so I will not comment on it further. Overall, it's a glorified demo of a game with relatively poor performance and no real goal.

Сеттинг завораживает: управление футуристическим городом, парящим в воздухе, заставляет задуматься о будущем цивилизации. Приходится балансировать между потребностями населения, добычей ресурсов и научными исследованиями, чтобы развивать свою летучую метрополию. Визуально игра выглядит приятно, хотя и не хватает некоторой детализации. Интерфейс интуитивно понятен, освоиться несложно. Однако, по мере развития города, менеджмент становится достаточно сложным, особенно когда ресурсов начинает не хватать, а население требует всё большего. Иногда ощущается недостаток глубины в некоторых аспектах игры. Хотелось бы больше вариантов развития, больше уникальных зданий и событий. Тем не менее, Luxocraft - это достойный представитель жанра, способный увлечь на несколько часов своим необычным сеттингом и интересными механиками. Поклонникам градостроительных симуляторов и игр про будущее определенно стоит обратить внимание.

Worth noting there's no actual game here, you just run around an environment made up of the tutorial assets, and that's it. It can't actually be "played". The developer just took the assets, put his own name on them and slapped a price tag on it. Usually asset flippers like to leave it at that, after all, it's better use of your time making another entirely new asset flip scam instead of revisiting older ones, but in this case the develoiper decided to rename the "game" to "Luxocraft" and then inf…
