Since I began this journey strange things began to happen.
My reality was no longer as it was before, I did not know if I am losing my mind and whether I am heading in the right direction.
A child in its mother’s womb does not know what is awaiting it, it is suspended in water as if it was in an abyss. It has the impression that its world is shrinking while in reality it is growing itself. Up to that moment only deafened sounds and blurry images reach it.
Birth is a time of oppression but a new space opens further.
Magnus Positive Phototaxis is an atmospheric journey through a mysterious world of characters, traces and symbols.
Unique graphic aesthetics of the game deepens a keen impression feeling of communing with mystical reality
Magnus Positive Phototaxis is a combination of an adventure, exploratory and logical game. The task of the player is to solve the puzzles, using proper combinations of objects, finding them in the environment around him.
The game has aesthetics of a hand drawing, individual comic-sketch style. The story is filled with a language of symbols which may direct the player into a deeper philosophical reflection. We strive for the told story to be open to the player’s individual interpretation, that is why the depicted world is ambiguous.
The game presents a journey of the main character as he learns the truth about himself, in a mysterious world around him. The story told within the game has an ambition of touching such philosophical-theological aspects as a soul’s wandering or metanoia.
The mood of the game can be roughly described as : coded biblical symbols, SCP atmosphere, journey inside one's own being, searching for arche.
This is the next installment of the Magnus series (first one is Magnus Failure, second Magnus Imago)

I like the visuals, the vibe, and the iconism, but the fcking pixelhunting is just killing it. I had to use a guide because I couldn't find the next thing. Still, it is an interesting, but sadly short experience
Follow us for more Awesome Adventures!
3 found this helpful
Magnus Positive Phototaxis :
I. Magnus Failure II. Magnus Imago III. Magnus Positive Phototaxis IV. Lazarus A.D. 2222 Enjoyable 3rd game in the Magnus serie, not sure wha'ts happening but it reminds me a bit about 751 Games dev and his game Cat museum, and Life Gallery world with some weirdness. it takes around 40mins/1 h to complete.2 found this helpful
Awesome game, I really like the atmosphere, the story and catholic motives. Some part were actually a challenge, just enough for me not to get frustrated, but stil move my brain. If you want to spend your afternoon on something really unique -choose this game :)1 found this helpful
It's an ok point and click puzzle, but it's way too short, simple and non-sensical in the way you should solve it that I can't in good faith recommend it. The art style is very interesting and engaging, but the long-ass ugly 3d animations and the general emptiness of the world, make this just a frustrating walk in the park1 found this helpful
i don't know what happened but this one is good1 found this helpful
i absolutely love, love, love games with that type of a vibe.. i just wish there was a little more of a dialog for a story or interaction with other characters or your own mind. it just got a little confusing in the middle to the end.1 found this helpful
