About Maximum Chaser : 1001 Squad
This game is based on a Flash game:
Hostility Ultimate Force(UF)2 : 2112 Cooperation - Original Producer of the series: 3DBBQ————————————————————————————————————————
The story takes place in a universe similar to ours, where the human beings on Earth have made great technological leaps and are about to reach "stellar civilization", and interstellar travel with neighboring planets is no longer a difficult task. But the Earth is in a serious energy catastrophe, with uneven energy distribution and growing disparity between the rich and the poor.In the past, there was a powerful heroic organization that maintained peace on Earth, but after a fierce battle with a huge evil biological research institute, both disappeared. But new evil forces are emerging in an endless stream, and small street organizations are beginning to emerge around the world at this time, contributing their own meager strength to continue the hero's duty. "Maximum Chaser" is one of them. You will play two members of the "Maximum Chaser": Kai (Member Num: 10) and Lily (Member Num: 01), and fight against an evil security company A.A.S.S. .The game is designed for single-player play, which means you need to control the characters on both screens at the same time. As the game progresses, the shooting method will also change. At this time, you will need to judge which side of the screen you should focus more on. Don't worry, it won't be difficult. Of course, you can also take on two-player challenges with your friends. This game does not support remote network connection, so you can only work together locally with your friends sitting in front of the same computer. What Steam players say

Built on the foundation of a classic Flash-style formula, this rail-shooter delivers a polished and genuinely fun experience that feels like a love letter to those simpler gaming days. It’s short, sweet, and perfect for a quick break—say, during your mid-morning coffee at the office. The game unfolds across five chapters, each a linear ride through cinematic scenes that look like they were taken from an action flick. Since it’s an on-rails shooter, there’s no need to worry about movement—just aim and shoot the somewhat repetitive enemies. Reloading adds a nice bit of tension, done by simply moving your cursor to the bottom of the screen. It’s quick enough to squeeze in even when the action heats up. Taking a few hits is not a big deal because you can recover health by blasting the floating health pills. What really sets this game apart is its dual-character control. You’re essentially managing two shooters at once, with a split screen showing each character's perspective. You can smoothly move your cursor across the center line to assist the side, and while a second player can jump in for co-op, solo players won’t feel at a disadvantage because of simple controls. pretty fun and silly single palyer double character railshooter chapter 1 is where the game plays out the best, making the best use of the 1 man 2 gun game design where you go blasting the left screen with a AR naturaly while sniping people on the right screen accurately with style chapter 2 is pretty bland with the hacking minigame when compared to chapter 1 chapter 3 is pretty cool but the extremely slow reloading speed at the end makes it akaward and also ends a bit too quick on the climax part(which i got stuck at reloading) chapter 4 is a gimmick point and clicker chapter that isnt bad but just not as interesting as chapter 1 chapter 5 is also pretty good and ends the game in a nice note, but makes you wishes there were a boss fight/finale the characters also makes witty and funny lines which is great

A polished, stylized, and short loosely narrative driven on rails shooter. Theres 5 chapters and took me roughly a half hour to beat. I've played nearly every game this developer has made, they're all sincere and unique, and this is another banger.
Incredible light gun title. Has a really strong sense of style similar to a grasshopper interactive title. Only issues I have with it are some rather unclear signposting in some later missions and that one godawful hacking minigame in chapter 2. It's short, dirt cheap, buy it!
