I did not do the artwork for this game, thumbs up4 found this helpful
Really surprised how polished this game is! This is going for proper old school and it does a good job hitting the mark. Does exactly what you expect though, Go into a room, shoot everything. That isn't to say there isn't interesting mechanics but the answer to your problem is always a gun. If you're into these sorts of games, give it a shot2 found this helpful

Bullet Runner is a fast, aggressive top-down action shooter developed by Kami Games and published by Bonus Stage Publishing that commits fully to the philosophy of constant motion, overwhelming firepower, and reflex-driven survival. From the moment the game begins, it establishes itself as an unapologetically arcade-focused experience, one that values intensity and immediacy over narrative complexity or mechanical excess. Everything about its design points toward momentum: standing still is dangerous, hesitation is punished, and mastery comes from learning how to move, shoot, and adapt in the middle of chaos. The premise is intentionally simple and largely functional, serving as a backdrop rather than a driving force. The story exists primarily to justify the constant escalation of combat encounters, and the game wisely avoids interrupting the flow with lengthy dialogue or cutscenes. Instead, Bullet Runner relies on the rhythm of combat itself to create engagement, trusting players to stay invested through gameplay rather than plot. C…1 found this helpful
Bullet Runner is awesome so far, it feels very solid to play and I absolutely love the different art styles at play. I also absolutely love the little cinematics and the way they are styled too.1 found this helpful
